Heritage Christian Academy Eagles Varsity Men and Womens' teams defeated the Jets of Banks Academy in non-conference basketball play on 12/9/21.  

The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Jets 38-24.  For HCA, Katie Hart led the team with 14 points, 10 steals, 7 rebounds and 1 block.  Lani Carre contributed 8 points, 4 assists, 2 steals and 8 rebounds.  Leah Pace brought down 5 rebounds and added 6 points, 1 steal and 1 assist.  Emily Calhoun chipped in 6 points.

HCA Varsity Men defeated Bank Academy by a score of 58-29.  Tobias Stoutermire had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds.  Greyson Sanford finished the night with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.  Seniors Jonah Hicks, Gabe Heath, Weston Myers and Kaden McKinney also collectively contributed 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals.

Heritage Christian Academy hosted Pickens Academy in area basketball play on Friday, 12/10/21.  The HCA Junior Varsity Boys  defeated Pickens Academy Junior Varsity 49-17.  Leading the scoring for the Eagles were Tyler Colley with 27 points, including 8 3-pointers, and Ben Heath with 11 points.  The JV team is 1-0 in area play.

The Lady Eagles lost a tough area match against the Lady Pirates 49-19.  Lani Carre contributed 7 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.  Katie Hart chipped in 4 points, 4 steals and 2 rebounds.  Leah Pace had 5 points and 2 rebounds.  Maggie Ingram dropped in a bucket and had 2 rebounds and 2 steals.

Heritage Christian Academy Varsity Men won 62-30 against the Pirates of Pickens Academy.  Tobias Stoutermire led the Eagles with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals.  Greyson Sanford knocked in 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and 3 steals.  Michael Hart dropped in 13 points and snagged 3 steals. The Varsity Mens' team is 1-0 in area play.

Heritage Christian Academy Varsity Men defeated Bessemer Academy 68-41 on Tuesday, 12/7/21.  Junior Tobias Stoutermire led the Eagles with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 1 steal.  Junior Greyson Sanford contributed 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals.  Junior Michael Hart dropped in 11 points, and grabbed 4 steals. Senior Kaden McKinney chipped in 8 point, 2 rebounds and 4 steals.

For Bessemer Academy, Senior J. T. Davis led the Rebels with 12 points and 5 rebounds.  Senior Trace Hendon contributed 8 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.
